Hi,

not sure if this has been posted yet but I was looking around for an RSRBR09 reinstall today since mine won't work anymore and I found this!:

http://www.virtualr.net/rsrbr-2010-released/

Anyone got this? I'm downloading now but won't be able to play tonight - anyone fancy some tomorrow?

EDIT:

Shadowww has kindly setup a mirror that should be a lot faster than Filefront or any of the other mirrors on the RSRBR site.

Say thanks to him!

Oooohhh ahhh, must get myself a new copy of RBR, I have had 2 discs and both are corrupt.
Can't get it to run, sadly.
Runs fine here and its not that much different from before. Interface is a bit easier to navigate but other than that I havn't noticed much else.

It doesn't let me view replays of my fails though

The best car by far is the 95 Impreza, found under the A8_2 category. (I think)
finally got it to run under vista. not too bad.
Just downloaded it and it said to uninstall RBR before installing this mod. So I did this. Now it says to install the original RBR again but I can't get my PC to recognise the CD in the drive for some reason. No auto-run pops up, and if I got to the CD drive from My Computer it shows it as being empty. Any ideas?

Saw it the other day and it made me want to get RBR out again I've got the 09 version installed and I can't really see what major changes there are? Downloading all that for the Renault 5 seems a bit too much hassle.

Check in the root folder of your RBR install and see if there's a .reg file called "Install.reg". Run that and then try installing.

Its just generally better! The interface is nicer and I'm guessing there won't be as many people on the old version racing still - Its well worth the upgrade IMO. Oh there's a few new tracks too that are pretty nice.

The RBR folder got deleted when I unistalled it so that won't work. When I say it got deleted, that was thanks to me being the PC-whizz-kid I am

+1!

I have it set as my car on my profile for all championships that allow the A8 class. I can't seem to set as fast times as I can in the modern A8 cars but it's such a blast to drive and the textures on it are so much better than any of the others.

The one thing that irritates me about rsrbr is that it doesn't let me put in my own sound samples to the audio. I had some really good realistic trans whine and turbo sounds and it won't let me use them now. Anyone got any ideas how to make them work? Apart from this I absolutely love it!
I've been using the 2000 WRC Focus and seem to be able to match the top times on theh championship stages, as long as I don't crash! Slowly working on my consistency.

EDIT: Just tried a few new cars, the 95 Impreza was wierd, I had brilliant turn in at high speeds, and massive understeer at low speeds - crazy! After trying about 20 cars on Cote D'Abroz (my benchmark track) I ended up choosing Loeb's 2009 C4, and without seemingly being much better, it drove me 2 seconds faster than i'd ever been at the first split, on the first ever run in that car - its really something! Definately going to be using that for official championships.
The 2009 C4 was the car I was using too. It does seem to be very quick. I'm faster in it than in any other car. I just enjoy driving the Scooby95 more, even if it is a bit slower. I am usually in the top 5 with it anyway. I'll look out for you on the leaderboards!
Managed to get it working (just gave the disk a clean). Like others have said the '95 Scooby is brilliant, by far the best of the one's I've tested. Paddys is a nice stage, too.

I can't get those BTB or BXB or whatever they are stages to work though?

Download the BTB stages to your RXRSRBR folder.

It's so bloody annoying when someone walks in on your for a chat while you're concentrating on setting a blistering stage time. :grumpy:
Ah ok ta will do that. Can't for the life of me work out how to register - I tried filling in the form form the RSCenter interface but it always gives me some form of error message - number is reserved, login name is taken, email address is taken, despite me changing all of these.

I think you need to sign up somewhere on here:

Later on today (Hopefully around 3 o clock) I'm going to make a few Public Session events, short sprint based ones with popular tracks and open car selection, and I might throw in a few restricted ones so we can have some fun with the Lada's. I'll update here later!

Stop it, you're making me sad that both my RBR DVDs wont read.

What the heck did they make those DVDs out of, wet paper?!
Does RSRBR10 include a night mod?
Double post, just don't care!

Rally entry is open! Gotta wait 15 minutes before the driving starts but it gives a chance for people to enter up and get prepared.
This should be fun :3

Anyone else you got 30 seconds.

EDIT: 10

EDIT 2: too late :P
