Quote from DeadWolfBones :So that'd be 2000-2009.

I'll go first (in no particular order), off the top of my head:

Mastodon - Leviathan

daft punk - alive 2007
eels - electro shock blues
moby - play

stereophonics - you gotta go there to come back

can't think of a 10th atm.

Quote from spankmeyer :So 10 years, eh? That leaves most of goold albums in the cold damnit.

Iowa? Really? I'd say that's by far the weakest Slipknot album.
An Horse - Rearrange Beds

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Baby 81

Death Cab for Cutie - Transatlanticism

The Raconteurs - Consolers of the Lonely

Tegan and Sara - So Jealous

Wolfmother - Wolfmother

Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Fever to Tell

Oh forbin great work on Death Cab for Cutie. I have been hooked on them for years. there really are too many amazing albums from the past 10 years. You a fan of Modest Mouse? I like thier early stuff
I just found them recently and fell in love instantly. I had a really tough time deciding between Transatlanticism, Plans, and Narrow Stairs.

I never liked Modest Mouse. I understand the poor singing is part of their aesthetic, but it just doesn't ring true with me.
In no particular order:

Dragonforce - Sonic Firestorm

Lamb of God - Sacrement

Iron Maiden - A Matter Of Life And Death

Turisas - The Varangian Way

System Of A Down - Toxicity

Strapping Young Lad - The New Black

Machine Head - The Blackening

Slipknot - Vol 3: The Subliminal Verses

Kiuas - The New Dark Age

Pyramaze - Legend Of The Bone Carver
Yeah, they're too electronic for me.
This was tough and I could be out on a few of them as I was going by Amazons release dates

I think I made a pretty good list. Base on my theory that if it sounds good i'll listen to it. So many bands left off just as they were a few years out - I know, looking at the list it's pretty mainstream stuff, oh well. The obsuce stuff I have was not released in 2000 - 2009

E - A Man Called E (lead singer of eels)

The Go Team - Thunder Lighting Strike

Pendulum - Hold Your Colour

Oasis - Definatley Maybe

David Grey - White Ladder

Bic Runga - Beautiful Colision

Badly Drawn Boy - The Hour of Bewilderbiest

The Streets - A Grand Don't Come For Free

LostProphets - Start Something

Antony And the Johnsons - Antony And the Johnsons

Damn, this is hard. I thought about it for 30 minutes and now have 40 albums by 30 different bands.

Time to narrow it down a bit.
#19 - 5haz
10 years isn't long enough either.
#20 - senn
Yeah 10 years made me realize a lot of my CD's are over 10 years old lol.
However, from within that time period...

Radiohead - Hail to the Thief - Their best album imho of the last 10 years anyway

UNKLE - War Stories - UNKLE's work is fairly unknown, but you have probably heard his tracks used on TV shows, i know Top gear has used tracks off both the albums i've listed here

Kool Keith - Black Elvis/Lost in space

UNKLE - End titles:Stories for film

thats all i can think of...for now busy at work. Muse is also there but i can't decide which album is my personal favourite. VAST would also rate a mention.
