I run LFS in Ubuntu 9.04 and Wine 1.1.29. All the settings are default, and audio section is shown in the screenshot.

Wine apparently wants an exclusive access to audio. How do I teach it using a proper sound system? Has anybody resolved a similar problem?

if your alsa has dmix, then you can turn everything off except alsa and oss.

Apparently, it worked after I turned off OSS and shut down Skype. Hmm...

Anyway, now LFS runs perfectly in Ubuntu, no mouse lagging, all sound, just a bit less FPS.
