Hallo, i try to ask.
I've a web space, in hosting, with a linux server and an amount of mb traffic for month.

Can i use this space in some way to start a lfs server ?

If yes, how ?

1) you need shell access, without that, you won't get anywhere.
2) if you're on a shared server, chances are nil they'll allow it.
3) you'll need to install wine, so you'll probably need root too... chances are nil you'll get that too.

needless to say, you probably won't get what you need to run it on that machine. web hosting is for web hosting... they don't normally allow other stuff.
