2009 Kyoto 250 : Race
Hello:

For those who qualified and are listed in the top 30, you're fine...welcome to the yearly challenge that NDR presents. You will recieve a PM with the server password Friday evening.

The server is set to NDR|2009 Kyoto 250. It's open for practice.

Schedule for the day is as follows:

15:45 UTC: All competitors in server. Please contact me PRIOR to this if you cannot make the deadline.
15:50 UTC: Driver's briefing, and grid set.
16:00 UTC: Start pace laps (5 - first three single-file, last two double.)
~16:10 UTC: Green flag.

If you are a confirmed entrant, but missed qualifying, please be advised that you can still get in. If slots open, and the two reserve drivers are already accounted for, you may be called on to start the race. These people will start from the back, in order of their LFSWorld hotlap time.

Post your discussions, questions, and comments here.

The race will be a long one. It should be a good one. Be smart early on, and plan to be there in the end.

Friday evening will also see custom track ads posted within this post.

= how much lap?
include pace lap?
Quote from scania :include pace lap?

I think yes, according to my calculator.

What i couldn't find in rules: is pitstop mandatory? I think only few will make it without stopping, but still i want to be sure.
you must because 135 lap need more than 100% of fuel XD

Hum. This will be difficult, as they'll need something like 40 laps under SC.

But, well, if I were in, I'd try it.
Anyone up for some last minute draft practice tonight?

I'm going to say 20 laps under SC and you might be able to pull off a no-stop race.

Do it at your own risk, there's a 95% chance I'm going to pit.

140 laps... laps 3 single file formation laps 2 double file formation laps to green flag 135 laps racing... (hopefully)
There seems to be a bit of confusion. Is it 130+5 or 135+5?

From rules:
Quote :2. The Official Distance of the Kyoto 250 is 135 laps.

It has to be 135+5, because over 100 laps LFS only lets you go up in 10s
Nifty. There's a useful piece of information.

I have to!

This is my first International Race ever!
I've been racing with [strongly good and fast] Amateurs around here in Brazil. This is gonna be my first 'VERY IMPORTANT EVENT', so I need to be there!

And, once again, thanks to all who gave me all the support to go as far as I could here...
What the HELL ?? I just realised that the 7th was today and not tomorrow !

Then I'll be able to take part/watch the race !

Oh god, what a good way to start my day.

Yes, I fail epicly.
What's the passworld? PM me please.

EDIT : never mind.
Damp! I lost connect!
GMT+8 2300-0100 is the worst connection time in Hong Kong....
I lost connection too
Congratulations to all that take a part on this super event.
So nice one Deko and NDR ,nice one Core Racing, nice Diaz

I don't blame anyone of my DNF ,i know it was lag etc. I have nice time on track ,chasing 4 cores in front of me. Nice to see some great drivers on track. It's good to see groving som new stars (yeah its Kenneth) ,but from my point of view ,he needs to calm down. He is fast but realy somethimes i thing he needs to grow up (take it positivly)

Overall the whole event (practice ,quali, race) was great organizes and there where good drivers .

So Thanks and see you next season and of course on KY500 ,need to defend
