Reading f1perfview data...
Anyone have a real clue or a tutorial link ling about that would allow me to actually understand the output produced by f1perfview?

Any help would be much appreciated. I have never had any trouble with making my own setups apart from looking at the suspension....
A lot of the data in there doesn't mean a whole lot for suspension development. The only thing I might use it for is to check if I'm bottoming out, and to do that I leave the x-axis on distance, and set the y-axis to "Suspension Travel Left ; Maximum".

For other things like camber roll, you're better off keeping an eye on temps in the F9 screen in LFS. Unless of course you're going for WR's, in which case you want as much grip as possible for just 1 lap.

The other thing it can tell you is how much your spinning/locking the wheels.

Beyond that, it's just random data that doesn't mean much.
It is good for pulling up your lap and comparing to a WR lap or another racer's lap. You can compare sector times, throttle, braking, coasting, top speed, min speed, corner speed, and so much other info side by side between 2 or more laps/racers. I find it VERY interesting.

Here's an example I have between me and RMachucaA on a lap at Westhill. Don't laugh at my stats, LOL:

I'm not laughing, really I'm not

I think the most telling stat there is the Free Roll RMachucaA is either on the the throttle or on the brake but yes I agree interesting.
