Since my 26" lcd screen litterally exploded I have to look for something new.

Question: Does LFS support 2560x1600 pixel modus?
(if my grafikcard and screen does?)

anyways, LFS supports all resolutions that your driver/screen supports.

I had an Acer AL2416 w/s build back in 2005.

I was watching something on INSANETY at YouTube
with my headphones on when suddenly I heard

BOFF - BOFF - BOFF through my Headset,
so in the first moment I did not understand what sound that was
and where it came from.

As the Screen was off and my wife got up from the noise in another
room I quickly switched of the main-switch on the energy-bar.

I was shocked! It smelled a little bit, some kind of sweet smell,
not like burned plastic...

Well, when I turn it on now it shows faintly the ACER-sign and then
there is nothing to see.

I will find out if Acer can repair the Monitor at an reasonable price...

But also I would like to get me a new Monitor, so I spend the day
today researching.

As I decided to NOT spend too much money, I dropped the Idea of
30" Zoll allready and thought of a

Novita 2602WHD, which is 26" as well and has good references at

a reasonable price. (That one only has a 1920x1200 Resolution),
so its not what I started the thread off with.

But the question of resolution had to be asked anyways...

I thought only 30" screens had 2560x1600. What kind of screen do you have?

Who? Me? - NONE! It exploded! (the inside light-thingy is gone...)

My old one (the one that exploded) was 26" with 1920x1200 resolution,

and I started this thread to figure out, if Live for Speed would support

the 2560x1600 res. at a 30" display.

But at the moment I have one BROKEN 26" and I write this on my wifes

notebook...

Yeah, LFS should support all resolutions that Windows does.
