I can do 10 reps of 30lb dumbbell curls and I am scrawny. 6'2" 155lbs.
30 lbs doesent weight anything, light as a feather.
Just ordered this

and I'll order this beauty today or tomorrow

mmm, I still wanna replace my DVD drive in my Macbook Pro with another Harddrive.. maybe I'll actually get around to doing that.

Day of fun on Sunday, starts with a service then I can start sorting out the rust/stone chips.
30's is where alot of people get stuck on...you get to 30's and cant go further for a while.

50's are tough. but im also only in 10th grade

and yeah 30's are pretty easy (doing them for about a year) but they are the ones i could get the most use out of overall too
If you're getting stuck at a weight, force yourself to go higher, you might only be able to do 3 or 4 reps at a time, but if you keep going back, pausing for a minute or so in-between, you'll force your muscles to work and you'll be able to do more and more reps.

Doing 10-20 reps of 30 is great if you want to tone up. If you want to build on strength/bulk up, you have to push your body and force the muscles to their limits. You're actually tearing them, that is what builds stronger muscles.
arms are the side, im aiming abs right now...i am not well equipped for doing any arm stuff, but all you need is a floor for abs, so thats what im focusing on.

i have the CRAPPIEST bench press, where your arms cant go nearly far enough apart, and that rips me off 30 pounds (its alot harder with less results). i have this: (on the bottom left):

and il try situps and crunches on that (its new so i havent yet)
You're better equipped than you think. I used stuff I had floating around the house until I actually got some good equipment.

Push ups with a backpack loaded with a bunch of baked bean tins makes a good start, more so if you raise your legs as it forces more weight onto your arms.

When you're doing sit ups if you hold say a laptop against your chest, most weigh about 2kilo, it isn't much but makes a difference. If you have some weights floating around, then use ~10-20 kilo, works wonders. Or if you're feeling brave, 50kilo is bloody fantastic for quick results. Painful the next morning though.

[edit: Those little benches are great, there is a lot you can do on them if you get creative.]

er wut? 12-14kg is a warm up weight not something to use for training

also go to a friggin gym weight training at home is either a waste of time or massively expensive

12-14kg is perhaps enough for someone who never trained before and is 15 years old, it's fine. Everyone has to start somehow.
But it's definitely not weight you get stuck on. Regular excersise with regular breaks to give your body rest, regular weight rises and good food (you should even sleep with rice) can make you grow pretty fast.
il be going to a gym anyways soon...and i have made massive progress, believe me.

as it is im not looking to get huge, just get some muscle tone, mainly for looks (i am already the strongest in my family....so thats plenty of actual stregnth)
I look fat but somehow have muscle enough to break up Junior hockey fights.

Not to mention my legs are rock solid.

It's fine if you never done anything that requires even a bit of muscles and are 15 years old... I'm also 15 and done 2 series of 24kg first time I got there...

For someone from my class... Also, not with my money.

You should... I use my optical drive twice a year as much, so I'm getting a external case aslo (6€) for using it through USB

Quote from P5YcHoM4N :Fuel Filter

Would you know it there are two types of fuel filter for the Escort Van and the place I used gave me the wrong sort. They won't be open now until Monday and I only decided to do the service because my fuel filter is buggered.
