Oh Edited.....

And sorry for inadvertently editing your post
Nah, I think 18:00 is too early, and anyway the reason it took so long was due to the 15 minute practice, plus the bigger gaps in between races. I mean, 22:45 for CET isn't late - and there's still scope for moving it a little earlier and making the races say 5 mins shorter

Just a comment about the dates, isn't a month in between each race a bit too long - that's 5 months for a 6 meeting championship! Pity one of dates clashes with a BTCC meeting I'll probably be at http://btcc.net/html/racedates.php

Edit: lol, just noticed the time change...

1800 is decent for a Sunday, tbh. People can get to bed a bit earlier then before work on Monday.

Particularly you.
nice.Race time is good, because you need to be good for peoples from difrent countries.

+1000000000000000000000000000. Even if I criticized warm-up event's time-schedule, my opinion has changed now, and 20:00 UTC seems to be the best possibility for me. Boothy is right, 22:45 CET isn't really late, we've all seen worse I guess. The major problem is that, if we put the event at 18:00 UTC, it'll clash with dinner for contienental people, and if we put it at 19:00 it'll clash with the Englishman's dinner. Sorry for speaking about dinner here, but I think that you all agree with me : you doesn't look "social" when you ask your familly if you can eat alone at a very early time, and then disappear during 2 hours to stay behind your computer.

Some people have business to attend to in the morning. I have to go to school by 11 (iirc) on mondays.
22:45 CET in my time zone is 24.45 so its very late!
OK, before this thread goes any further - I moved the time because a) I got finished at the Pre-Season event at 23:00 UTC, which was too late for me, and thus b) definitely too late for most European guys.

Also, a lot of people asked me to put it back to 1800, I try to do the best thing by everybody, but I can't please all of you.

So it's staying at 1800.

Cheers

Correct me if I am wrong, but Lithuania is in UTC+2... So it would finish at 23:45pm for you.

PS : Bah, end of off topic anyway.
Plus, I tend to go to work when I'm at Uni from 1600-2400 EST on Sundays. So 1800 is much better if you want my Murray Walkerisms on teh 'casts.
Good calendar and keep the time at 18:00
Quote from DevilDare :Good calendar and keep the time at 18:00

Apart from bloody SO4R. The worst track in LFS IMO but meh
