I have been part of the dSk team before, experienced from 2005-2009, did also 40+ skins, would be interested to reactivate and develop my lfs skills again in a team, german language preferred, english absolutely ok
EDIT: I joined GUM Garage. Thank You to all who contacted me and offered help.
paceman, I am highly interested.
I'm the founder of Team Rock Racing, we host one of the bigger leagues in LFS at the moment, as well as soon to host the first proper endurance race in LFS in a while.
We also have a team of drivers, mixed skills, but all friendly and a warm group of people.
You're more then welcome to come back from a 10 year absence to get back into it with our little group.
Only problem is, you don't accept private messages, hence the reply.
We mainly do league and event racing, but fun meetings in-game with the team also happen at times. There's no pressure to perform or to even attend any events, as long as you feel good inside the group we are all happy.
Let me know if a warm welcoming group sounds like something you'd like.
Also, currently I am doing the teamskins or the team, maybe you could indeed re-develop those skills and if you like take over that task.
We are not German, mainly Dutch, 2 Polish and a Bulgarian. Aber: Ich liebe die Deutsches sprache.

FXR GTR Long Distance, any Track
Average Laptime on Your Preferred Car/Track:
KY Oval WR times in both big Formula classes without even knowing it. Don´t know what happened after 2008, but my times set are still faster than current WR times.
FZR to current WR. +0:00.270
F08 WR-diff -0:00.120
BF1 WR-diff -0:00.040
I don´t know what this is worth today, but keep in mind that I never had any help and did it all myself.
How Active Are You?
I was a solo racer all the time, but did quite a few long distance GTR races back then at AS National. 455 laps, certainly of which at least 350+ are racelaps.
I do all setups myself. All of them. Because i know team setups go through many hands before they go into a competition or a strategy. So before even thinking about solo racing GTR, my main content was understanding what each slider on the setup menu can provide. Learning the many different approaches you can take to reach a goal.... things like that.
So im definately able to improve a work in progress team setup with my own rounds for the team on a tracktest and I expect my teammates to do so as well.
These races are long ago and I was a young dude back then, but even back then I had a very clear view on what I have to deal with to finish top 10 in these races, which i have accomplished every single race.
I wasn´t able to fight with the top 5, but I still have these races in good memory and like to think back at them. Because I know I was alone and had to deal with drivers that simply utilized the experience and know how of every single member of their racing team.
Well. Thats how racing works, thats why we have teams in the first place ;-)
So these top 10 results were quite an archievment for me.
I did not have time for many years to even think about doing a posting like this on this forum.
My main goal right in this moment is to repeat a solo Top 10 result again in the near future in any long distance 50+ round GTR competition. It simply is what I demand of myself to consider myself teamworthy.
Coming back to this game and immediately doing an 1:08 time at BL1 in FXR after just 5 rounds with a rented car and 15 min setup on trackday..., kind of convinced me, that I still know what I do and still have the focus + reaction level which i can rely and improve on.
The main thing that drives me at the moment is the sheer fun that I have to have the free time to be able to think about doing stuff like this again.
My main goal for now is to simply connect with active racers in an active online community, with no further intentions.
For me, knowing the people is the most important thing.
I would not join a team with one guy at 110%, one at 90%, two at 80% and the last dude only showing up when he is not drunk.
What Kind of Control do you use?
The simple but very effective confidence and knowledge that I will beat you if I get the same chances as you.
Indestructable ability to focus and fight.
Being able to be happy for a mate by understanding his story and the goal he must reach.
Unique personality. I spare you from going into further detail by telling the most important thing that explains it.
I quit my lifetime contracted factory job that safely earned me 4000€ each month, to do one thing.
Play electric guitar and live from it. A goal which i have successfully managed to archieve.
What if not this proves my ability to focus and fight. Unfortunately it also proves that im a total lunatic.
