OK, I just got one of those new fancy Microsoft keyboards, the ones with lots of lovely buttons along the top for internet favourites, my documents, media player etc etc etc and now all the hotkeys I use in game do not work. All the F1-9 buttons have been automatically assigned functions on the keyboard and they have overridden the hotkeys

anyone know how to get them working? I can't even use the CTRL+F1-9 or ALT+F1-9

Most likely you've left F-lock on? Alternatively not installed the keyboard's drivers?

yep, was a simple matter of locating the F Lock key and pressing it.....stupid new keyboard
