Truth told I know way too many cases when two animals lived together for a long (or short) time then either of them become another's lunch, in some cases it was caretaker that ended up on the wrong end of the food chain.

Well, I have some finches, pigeons and cats. Birds won't do anything to a cat (as we all probably know), but my cats wouldn't do anything to my birds. They are thought like that. Once one of my cats entered the (damn, which word should I use?) "pigeon home" but none of the pigeons were injured or dead at the time we noticed that a cat is in there (she was sleeping and they were like 10cm to the cat). Also, my cat doesn't even want to enter the room I keep my finches in (they are in cages, they aren't flying around lol) even if I'm not in there.
