this may be a stupid question but how do you change the number of laps after you have built a track

/laps should work

Bottom right corner.

It tells me autocross: fixed number of laps

if i try change the laps on the bottom right

In that case type

/laps=x

into the message box, x being the number of laps you want

No, in the editor, [shift-u] after you've pressed the spacebar to view all settings, and selected "place objects-yes" in the bottom right there is "number of laps=1" just change this value.

it seems strange that you cannot change the number of laps through the pre-race screen, were you view the car, track, and connection list, but that's just how it is.
