I'm having problems getting to use LFS S2 with dual monitors in vista. The problem being i cant do it.
I'm running Vista, so the horizontal span option we had under XP is now gone. Having 2 monitors at 1280x1024, on XP and running LFS full screen, when using XP's horizontal span, under the config in LFS one could find 2560x1024 listed, which would make LFS span through both monitors. Now this is imposible in VISTA, since the only option available under Nvidia config is dualview.
The one thing i have tried is to run LFS in windowed mode, but for some reason fps drop like crazy. The image stutters a lot but yet on the FPS indicator it shows its running at about 150 fps. This is when i enlarge the window to cover both monitors. Normally, on one single screen, i get well above 200 fps or so.
Has anyone managed to run any game fullscreen across 2 monitors in vista in the same way we used to do in XP?
My computer is basically:
C2D 6750 at 2.8Gz
4Gb DDR3
Nvidia 9800GX2
