Patch Z Reflection Problem
Since installing patch Z, I am having some trouble with a reflection mod I had installed. I am using the following texture mod:

http://www.lfsforum.net/showth ... amp;highlight=reflections

Since installing patch Z, there seems to be no reflections occurring whatsoever, and my wheels are also being depicted as grey when they were originally white, yet attempting to change them back manually is not working.

Here is what I am referring to:

Before Z:

After Z:

Note the change in wheels and lack of reflections. The real problem is that I need my car to look exactly as it did before for continuity in a movie I am currently making
It works at me: (same track, car, reflections and weather)

You just need to re-install the reflection mod. Patch Z has some program files that overwrite the modded ones, so you just need to re-overwrite them

Or, you can change car shine manually in the cfg file, which is what I did. It probably won't look exactly the same, but you could probably get it close enough
Everything is set exactly the same as it was before the patch. I tried to download the reflection textures manually in order to overwrite them, but this didn't work as they were already in the folder. I also looked at the cfg file, and the car shine was still set to 0.30, as was previously instructed when the high resolution pack was originally installed.
No idea so, maybe it's something to do with the updated reflections in Patch Z

You should've kept a barebones copy of the old patch (no skins), I've done that for each one, and most of the test patches. Without skins, and compressed, it's only about 150MB
Any other suggestions please? I really need this to be rectified and it seems to be fine in Flame's game.
As you can also see from the screenshots, I also have a custom skin installed, would this be a factor? I tried it with the default skins but to no avail.
No, it's just that the custom reflections files don't work with Z. You have to either use an old LFS, or change the car shine to an acceptable level...

BTW, I now get a bluish tint on all cars at FE since using Z with the old reflection mod
Can you just say the car got dirty
but seriously i dont think anybody would really notice a difference the only difference off top is the wheelsand they are prolly gonna be movin
Right, it seems as though the problem was due to the car shine setting in config afterall. Previously it was set to 0.30 which still made the car reflective, but since installing patch z it seems that this setting no longer results in any reflections. I raised it to 1.0 and this did result in reflections - but it only seems to work with some tracks and not others. Fern bay for example results in the car becoming too bright which does not look realistic, and I have tried to adjust the shine accordingly but it still remains the same. I have also tried replacing back the original textures but the same result still occurs. Any suggestions?

that just hurts my eyes
Same for me
I have the same problem... don't know what to do ...
Why don't you do the simple thing and re-download and re-install? Just copy your SKINS and SETUPS and all should be well. Unless I've missed something o_o
