The online racing simulator
Starts, Restarts, Red Flags
Something for everyone.

It's sunrise here, and I'm still posting on the LFS Fourm. Damnit.

But let's continue.

START:

The start will take time and require patience. Sure, your tyres might freeze. Most series don't allow tyre warming, and they start on pretty damn cold tyres in the first place. So, take this into account. And your tyres are cold ? MODIFY YOUR DRIVING to fit the situation ! Leave some extra margin for error. Give more. Cold tyres on the start of a race is not the time to be greedy.

RESTARTS:

Tyres deal is the same as the start. On the restart, don't bunch it all up at the back. The back going before the front is what causes the majority of the pileups. Use your head !

RED FLAGS:

A red flag means that the track is essentially shut. You SLOW DOWN. You GO WHEREVER THE RACE DIRECTOR TELLS YOU TO GO. You WAIT for further instructions. It's a controlled situation. The rest of the race will still be there. Don't worry about it. The Race Director will take all factors into account, tyres, timing, etc. Just let it get sorted out. It WILL take time.

Any questions ?

I look forward to clean racing and great racing from EVERYONE in the next practice sessions, and Qualifying, and the Kyoto 500.
