Cheapo Wheel or 360 Controller?
The thing is, I'm running on a budget of ~$50, if I want to get S2. That leaves me with these options.

1.)Logitech Wingman Formula Force GP: ~$35
2.)Microsoft Sidewinder: ~$40
3.)Logitech NASCAR Racing Wheel: ~$40 (http://tinyurl.com/3m9hrm)
4.)Genius Twin Wheel F1: ~$40 (http://tinyurl.com/3he2xx)
5.)360 Controller, or another recommended gamepad: ~$30

Which should I go with?
I just found the Thrustmaster Ferrari GT Experience wheel for $50. It looks pretty nice, and it's free shipping. Thoughts on this wheel?

If you want my honest opinion, its a pretty crap wheel. I had one a long time ago on my PS2. It was pretty crap. Rubbish FFB, and it felt so small in my hands, even back then when i was quite small myself!

Seing as you have a budget of $50, i dont know what you could really get over there. It may be worth going on eBay and having a look. Search for a "Logitech Force EX" and see how much they are going for, or you could try searching for a "wingman GP". Both of these wheels are good. There not fantastic but are still very enjoyable and good for a beginner. If either of them turn out to be to expensive, then get a controller. Im not sure about controllers though so you will have to ask someone else about that as i have never used one on a PC.
I couldn't find the EX, but the GP is ~$35. So, that wheel is a good one?

Yes the GP is quite a good wheel. Obviously, its not upto DFP/G25 standards, but its still quite good. Oh thats a point, try searching for a "logitech DFP". You may be able to find one second hand for 50$ or less.

btw, heres a vid of the GP so you can get the gist of what its like.

I have an EX and its fairly good. Nothing amazing but a perfectly good wheel
I saw the DFP, but they were for PS2/PS3 only. Do the PS2/3 ones work for PC?

Yes. They have a USB plug which goes into the PC. Then you just install the profiler software and set it up. Then your ready to go.
Well, I found a lightly used DFP for $55, $15 to ship. Is the wheel worth it?

Yes the DFP is a pretty good wheel. Its abit noisy but its not to bad, and it has 900 degree's lock-to-lock.
All right, I guess I'll take the plunge. Anything's better than driving with a joystick, though. Now, I just need S2 and I'm set.
