I was practicing for olfsl today. I was racing on r1 tires (ky2 fbm) and after few laps i decided to change rear tires to r2 in the pits. When i enterd them the car was repaired (repair option off) and wheel changed too. Bug ?

Tested it and noticed that when you change the tyre type, "Repair damage: [NO] changes" to "Setup changes requested", and when I pit it starts to repair.

Pretty sure this happens because you can't make setup changes to a damaged car.

Not quite sure on that though.

had the same last sunday, pretty much cost me the 2nd place in a 61 lap league race. Making actual setup changes and repairing the car makes sense, but just changing the tyre type to another one and repairing the car doesn't.
I think it should be separated somehow.

It happens if you change anything for the car.

In my situation: No car repair set. set front wing -1 and they repaired although i woul not that.

Tested in in singleplayer and again!!!!!

It repairs if you want to change, although you set to "no repair".

Noob here, but how do you change set without going Shift + P?

Press F12.

You can't really change the whole set, though. Only some settings and pit stop options.
