The online racing simulator
How many controllers can LFS support?
I am in the process of building my cockpit and cannot find this info anywhere.

Is there a limit to how many controllers LFS can see? Say I had a G25 wheel with an act labs shifter and different pedals. Then I wanted to add buttons in my dash on another controller.

On the flip side of that is there a limit of the number of buttons LFS can see on one controler? I am looking at some stuff from beta innovations and some of their stuff can handle up to 84 buttons or more on a single usb controller.

Other than LFS what about any of the other good PC sims? Any limiations I should watch out for while building my carsimpit?

Yes LFS can handle about as many controllers as you can throw at it. So 84 buttons shouldn't be a problem. And if you use something like Joytokey and the possibilities are limitless.

There are quite a few USB gadgets on the market to help cockpit builders. Flightsim forums and websites are the first place to look, but also have a look at the RSC forum.

Edit: Just remembered, this http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=40206 was posted a few days ago too.
Perfect, thanks.
Quote from Gekkibi :I use http://www.leobodnar.com/. Works perfectly and it is small enough to hide just about anywhere.

I've just had a look at the two vids on that digital display page...Wowza !, that's some piece of kit he's got there. Do you know anything about that wheel ?

Im just waiting for my dash to get installed.. then its onto the gauges and the rest.
I've done some checking, and, It's made by the CST boys (Cannon Simulation Technologies) i.e Leo Bodnars company.

The wheel's not in full production yet but, by God it looks stunning.

Just a little bit more info at the RSC Forum http://forum.rscnet.org/showthread.php?t=314424 But obviously they're not saying too much about it at the moment.

How much do you want that !
