Off topic thread & Post Season Discussion
Post anything in here which isn't directly related to the LFS BC.

From me:
Can anyone come up with a name for our new series which might replace the Multi-Make Challenge. Here's the blurb:

Are you looking for an LFS League that's a bit different? Then the <whatever it's called> may be for you! Entry is open to any team of 2 players. The rules are quite simple. It's the concept of an endurance race - with a driver change - but the race only lasts about 30 mins. Tactics will be cruital and races will be frantic and exciting! For Season 1, we will be using the FWD GTR class and/or Baby-FWD GTR class. Points will be similar to the LFS BC points system. Series starts Aug/Sept 2008!

I don't have a name but I'm interested in this event

Why not just call it the Endurance Cup?

I thought of something like that - but it's not really endurance.

Ok team TG

That will be fun. I always wanted to do some sort of endurance thing but I don't have time for ones that are hours long

BTW: You will have mail in a minute

That's the idea - endurance 4 those who don't have time.

Thats nothing

My laptop can out do that:

2GB Ram
Nvidia GeForce 8400M GT
200GB HDD

But If I got a desktop I would want:

4GB Ram
Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS
500GB HDD

But that will be really expensive
Heh my GFX card is better then urs :P And also I got it for 700$

But MY GFX card has more Megabytes lol
Oh hush

It's not what you have

It's what you do with it that counts!

That's the specs of my laptop too! Isn't the 8400M an on-board GFX card though? The manual said it was anyways...

My PC handles the G25 no bother, FPS doesn't change at all

My PC Is a Sony Vaio FZ11Z

/me goes to Vaio website...

Oh great Its an old model now - Now all of the FZ series have blu-ray disc burners

Lol
Blue-ray burners? Dear Christ.../me hides the old Compaq with the floppy drive...

lol whats the point of a BD burner? For the 0.001% of the population who have a BD player? lol

I have a Advent 9517, its the same spec as yours Joe, but mine gets 5fps in LFS...w00t!

Well I got a BD Burner because I like to film videos with my camera...

My photos and videos folder is 20GB of just photos and videos

My laptop does play BDs aswell, so its not like the BD burner is useless lol

EDIT: Hmm... If I register my laptop, I get a free copy of Casino Royale on BD
I need an HVD Burner now

It can store 3.9 Terabytes incase I ever needed to back up the internet

EDIT: Oh my God...
Quote from Wikipedia :
Using MPEG4 ASP encoding, a 3.9 TB HVD could hold 4,600–11,900 hours of video—just over one year of uninterrupted video at usual encoding rates.[4]

HVD? That's...1114285 times larger than a 3.5" floppy
