If I join mid-race and have automatic transmission, I'm forced to spectate. Then I turn it off, but now I can't join because the system says "your car is repaired now, you can't join this race anymore".

Maybe not count the force-spectate for transmission?

Hmm.. yep, I agree. Next version of the software, I won't count accidental autogears as a MRJ
