Kyoto GP long chicane bad bug
Hi all, dunno whether it is known or not, but in the oval chicane on Kyoto GP long there is one part where some invisible "error" exists. if you hit it accidentally your car just gets pushed as if u hit some high curb or whatever, I made 2 pictures of the tyre marks lying on this spot showing clearly where it is located.

I hope this will be ficed soon since it can ruin a race there easily (I got knocked out 3 times in today's LFSGT race) sry for the wide pictures, I was too lazy to cut the second screen out

possible Renku, I haven't searched for it, sorry I never tried it like the other guy did, I only experienced bad car bahavior while hitting that point.

But since he posted it in 2006 already my hopes fade away that it will be fixed soon
wow, I didnt know that really was a bug, I remember me and a teammate once lost a 3h endu race because of going off at that exact point. At that time I though it must had been something I did wrong but I never figured out what.

Plz, put it on the to do pile
well it was your mistake in _some_ way lococost

actualy this is a well known bug (and not only that chicane...loads of curbs act weird on kyoto) and thats why you should always try to avoid them but if u dont you might fly off
that might be, but it's still a bug and a very nasty one too.

Yep - bug or not it's a condition of the track. Some kerbs you use, some you don't, just like in real life. A couple of guys found this to their cost in OWRL F1 at Kyoto last night - the two guys with the fastest lap times had to pit to repair damage. It's the classic risk-reward scenario.
True, but theres a big difference between suffering cumulative damage from a high kerb, to being launched in the air by an invisible force. I dont think that a bug like this can be ignored as a 'feature' when the whole aim of the sim is to be as realistic as possible.
this happened to me today, with the XRR i passed 200kmh+ but i was launched toward the sand... like if i hit a wall previous a kerb, but there is no wall, the was only the chicane, and to me that's impossible to happen
Anyone who's seen yesterday's DTM race, will have to admit that those kerbs might actually not be buggy at all (Paffet flying in the air when he tries to re-enter the track in lap 1)
traxxion, better look at the pics in the first post, Haven't seen that in a DTM race.
However fitting, the second screen shows a nice sharp rock

Have you actually seen the incident I refer to? I can't find a movie about it, but it was quite similar to the "bug" we're talking about here...
kinda like an invisible gutter? and xrr has no ground clearence so.... try with xrt c wat happens

Xrr rolls easy because of a sort wheelbase.
Same (to an extent) as the FXR.
