Hey guys, ive searched all over the forum on how to supress the sound of the click. Ive heard about putting foam in it, but im sure theres a thread on it or something?
Would someone be able to lead me to the right direction?

I remember someone saying (Tweak I think) he replaced the springs for stiffer ones and replaced the bead, or whatever component that makes the click, with one of a different material. Thus firming the shifter up and quitening the click. It's something I'd like to do myself is somebody gave me a link to the exact parts I need to buy, along with an explanation on how to fit them.

I remember someone replaced the steel ball with a nylon ball or something but couldn't find it again.

the nylon ball makes almost no noise at all while the shifts remain pretty solid but it wears out quick and thus makes a bit of a mess there...nylon dust in the pots can't be a good thing. the rscnet solution seems a lot better but not much quieter, only less annoying
