Sorry Iv been looking through the threads but still lost.

Im currently using a Saitek R440 which is my Girlfriends sons wheel! he will be wanting that back soon so I need a wheel.

The Saitek is alright but the steering dosnt feel smooth its a bit notchy. So what's the next best wheels to the G25? as I dont wanna spend that much on a wheel.

Or is there a list of the top 10 out there somewhere that someone could link me?

DFP? Says its a PS2 wheel? if I were to get one do I need converters etc etc??

DFP and Red Momo should be good choices. As far as I know the DFP works with the PC without any additional adaptors or similar.

I'm certain young Jakg will be along when he wakes up and crawls out of his bed.

But in the mean time..... I'm assuming no G25 due to cost ?

If so you cant go wrong with a DFP, It's usb so plugs straight in the back of yer puter, and all you need is the wingman driver which is easy enough to find.
Not sure but i think you can pick them up for less than 50 quid these days. It's got 900 degrees of rotation, FFB that'll have you giggling like a little school girl (trust me on this one :tilt more buttons than you will ever need, and it looks pretty good too.

Next in line, i guess there's the Thrustmaster RGT the one with the clutch pedal, less rotation than the DFP, dont think the FFB has the subtlety as the DFP , cost more than DFP, but its still a good alternative. Then there's the Red Momo if you can still find one, but wont be cheap. And finally if your really strapped for cash the MS Forcefeedback Sidewinder wheel (think thats it's name ?)

So to sum up, go get a DFP, you won't regret it

The only place I could have got a brand new DFP for £50 was at GAME, but they didn't have any in stock and they'd not been in stock for 6 weeks.

The cheapest price I could find on the tinternet was £69 at Dark Planets, with P&P it cost me £75.

Yeah £75 was the cheapest i could find! I dont want the G25 due to the price...missis wouldnt be pleased lol.

I've got a DFP and a Momo racing for sale.

£55 for the DFP and £30 for the Momo (wheel clicks when turning and the pedals arn't very good.)

Yep, looked all over to find cheaper but couldn't, so I ordered it last night N3il, I'd recommend the DFP buddy if you can afford £75
