Vista & VGA driver problem
Hi!
I use 32bit Vista, and yesterday I wanted to put on the newest catalyst driver I downloaded for my ATI Radeon Xpress 1200 card.
I deleted the old driver - restarted my laptop - Installed new driver correctly...restarted again. OK. For some reason the driver haven't been installed, and I have "Common VGA device" instead of the 1200. Max resolution is 1024x768... So it acts as if I wouldn't have installed anything.
I tried older drivers, but the problem is the same.

Please help!
No answer?
What the hell? No one can help me??? Please try to do sg.
Quote from geeman1 :Try Driver Sweeper and then re-install the drivers.

I've already tried that, and I have Catalyst driver right now, but STILL sais "Standard VGA Device Adapter" in Device Manager. BTW ATI Radeon Xpress 1200 should be there!
Problem solved! All the drivers I found (for Vista 32bit and ATI Radeon Xpress 1200) were incompatible... I downloaded the newest driver from Fujitsu website, and now it works fine....
