I thought Sato would do better this time but oh well

Hmm looks like McLaren might run over the Ferraris.

Where do you get that impression?

Obviously, the Ferraris werent using their full potential in the second session. Those practice sessions dont mean anything anyway, IMO.

I agree. Go Ferrari Go.
They were probably doing long fuel runs, but I wouldn't be surprised if McLaren were to make a Ferrari sandwich, or even grab a pole if one of them can put in a superman lap.
Quote from Blas89 :I agree. Go Ferrari Go.

Dont put things in my mouth. I dont want Ferrari to do well.
but, I do, Go Ferrari Go!
I agree with Zeug. Go Ferrari go!

Kimi had a huge smash, glanced it off the wall at 200mph. He's OK though, but Ferrari will have an impossible task to get his race car ready for qual.

Also in the best news all week, Suzuka is back on the calender for 2009!
Yay for Suzuka! Boo for crash!

Seriously though, the Ferrari crew have only 2 hours to rebuild the F2007. They'll be able to do it, but Kimi's confidence would've been wavering, I don't think he'll do very well in the qualifing round...
Let's see what ferrari say about mcleran once mcleran takes the pole and proberly wins the Italian grand prix they are putting aligations in about mcleran left right and center this year just because mcleran have a rookie leading the championship and ferrari dont like it so they throw their toys out of the pram.

The alligation about the gearbox has been tested and is legal and i don't think they would use ferrari documents to make anything because from the start of the season mcleran have been alot better than ferrari, Well lets see what happens this week and i hope mcleran dont get found guilty next week because i don't think a very rich team would use documnets to cheat their way through the championship to win it.

They'll probably just use Kimi's spare car.
I will take this opportunity to thank ITV for the complete and utter lack of brains. Opening day of the Rugby world cup has pushed the Grand Prix qualifying to ITV4, a channel you can only get on about 50% of digital services since digital is a pile of ass. Let face it, qualifying is more exciting than the race these days, and hardly any countries play Rugby, theres barely enough to even make a decent world cup.

I'm lucky that my new digital box has not lost ITV4 yet, but everytime I turn it on it has lost a channel. This is more of a rant about switching to digital when its not even up to the standard of analogue. But then again I get sick of DVDs, at least with VHS you could fast forward the copyright notices on your legally bought video.

RANT OVER!

Ferrari will win.

In this game, even knowing what areas your opponent has been focusing on in the engineering and design of their cars and systems is a huge advantage. One team may have discovered a solution to a widespread problem, or discovered a problem that nobody else yet knows about.
Anyway, there's another topic about that somewhere, an interesting and engaging piece of F1 history. But for this race, I think Massa has a real chance of being strong. I think Alonso can go well here too. It will be interesting to see how the tyres fare between the top teams. A lot to learn about coming rounds by watching this one.
Alonso looks like he's got this one in the bag, his on-board lap looked extremely smooth and fast, while everyone else looks a little ragged.

Button is doing well too, which is nice to see!
McLarens were very, very good over the kerbs. They seem to have the superior package for the track, you have to cut the kerbs much as you can in Monza and their car seems to be perfect for that at the moment.
