Fraps Recording - No Sound! (2 Sound Cards / Vista x64)
Well, i'm trying to record something with Fraps (Fraps Registered, Version 2.8.2, Build 6486), however even though "record audio" is enabled, and set to "What U Hear" of my sound cad - the sound is coming out of that sound card fine, from LFS, into my speakers. I've tried letting it record from my microphone, too, but it seems to be unable to record from that either

Here a screenshot of Fraps:

And heres a screenshot of Windows setup:

Any ideas...?

Tried checking the 'Use Windows Input' box ?

I tried using Audacity to record the "What U Hear" off my sound card, clicked record and got:

:Eyecrazy:

The plot thickens!

I'm geussing it's somewhere along the lines of Vista + Creative + Fail

Clicking the "Use Windows Input" box gives me the same thing
jack your problem is vista, i have one thing to say

XP

lol
The problem sounds the same as what I had before but IIRC the sound options in Vista are quite tarded compared to Xp.

Anyway, I fixed my problem (Caused by myself forgetting to put the settings back) by giving each of the sound bars some "volume". Simple but stupid error.

Attatched a screeny of my sound options anyway. (Sound properties > Recording)

Well heres some more screenshots of the levels:

I'll try the volume changing though, thanks!

Still says it's "Unavailable" though
Jakg, what I did, was I had a simple 3.5 - 3.5 jack, and plugged the output into input, which works awesome, and you actually record stereo sound, instead of mono with normal fraps.
