If you've ever wondered how exactly the InSim state changes as you hop through LFS, I got a little app for you:

I've spent too much time trying to watch IS_STA packets and created this real quick to help me figure out what i need to watch out for. There's both binary and source releases.

Open LFS press t and then type /insim=29999

Switch to State Inspector and make sure the port is the same as above and that the address is localhost. Then press apply to connect.

I would comment that if you're making an insim addon, then you probably should know how to do this already.. if you're not then you've probably not got much use for this..
