Ok so im planning on making a H-Shifter. Do i need to by a special Joystick or can i buy a crappy 5 buck one?
I see a lot of ppl using Sidewinder 2.
Do i have to use one of them?

To my knowledge you just need one that supports force feedback.

Why not get S2 first :P???
