Hotlapping Problem
When I am hotlapping I get random game stuttering which drops the frame rate down to 37 then back up to 92, creating a jerky game thats undriveable.

I have tried various re-installs & spyware & adware progs, but cannot get it to go away.Frown It happens randomly & ruins my hotlapping as I have to stop playing because of it. (it doesnt happen when im on-line)

It also comes up with an error message: DI : SetProperty - Unknown Error

Has anyone come across this before or know of any way of fixing this problem?

Something to do with your wheel. Is it gameport or usb? Tried pressing SHIFT+C a few times to reinitialise your wheel?
How is 37fps 'Jerky and undrivable'?...

I will try the wheel reset next time Smile. I have pedals on a gameport & my wheel is on USB.

The jerkyness is like someone pressing pause every second. The game probably is'nt running @ 37fps when it happens but thats what the numbers at the top of the screen say.
could be any number of background tasks interfering.

Best solution is to install LFS on a clean partition with just windows and nothing else, save a firewall.
