Pedal Problem Speedlink 6698
Hi,

could anybody tell me how I can get a Speedlink 4 in 1 Power Feedback Leather Wheel SL-6698
to work right ?

I use: Win XP
Driver: sl-lenkraeder.zip Version 4.1 ( Speedlink )

It seems ok besides the pedals. I chose in LFS for axis seperate.

I tested the wheel in GTR2 and rFactor and Need for Speed Underground 2 there it works fine.

What must I do to get this pedal in LFS working ?

Thanks in advance

Do the pedals work in the "Systemsteuerung/Gamecontroller" menu?

If yes, start LFS, go to controls and select FF/Axes. Now, when you press a pedal you should see the slider for the pressed axis on the right side.

Select throttle on the left and assign the pedal on the right to it (it´s the one with the moving slider). Maybe you have to invert the input with the "invert" button. Do the same with the brake control.

By the way, the pedals seem to have a problem, because there is no analog input. So you probably won´t be able to have much fun playing LFS. If you are seriously into racing and you can afford it, get the DFP. It´s worth it!

Hi,

thanks for your answer NikLaw. I did what you wrote but its the same.

I can see the slider, it is ( doing nothing ) on 50 % at the beginning.

If i push the brake pedal, the slider goes from 50 % up to 100 % and
if i push the speed pedal, it goes from 50 % down to 0.
So if i press the speed pedal it brakes and speed up the same time.

In all the other games i tested i had no problem at all with that SL 6698.

That means your pedals are combined so you need to choose combined axis in lfs.
