Created a track called figure 8, Got the idea after seeing other posts about a figure 8 track, (This is made entirely from scratch).

Its based in blackwood carpark,

Nice wide lanes so plenty of speed to get up, also Drifters will love this course. (well i think they will)

Watch out for the crossover point, Quite a few near misses.

Thanks to everyone who asked for ramps etc.. to be added/removed.

I havn't tryed this track but can you drift that whole coarse? Looks like some long straights...

Come try it out M8, u need a good run to get the drift just right

Mmm, maybe i should update MY figure8 layout ... it's not as big, but
it's a true 8 Almost perfect geometry. Adding jumps is a good idea.

Why not a figure eight, that just contains four poles and you can choose the line for yourself (as long as you drive outside of the poles)? Believe me, there would be enough crashes just because they're trying to evade each other... And crossing would be possible at more than one place, so you have to be careful all the way to the pole on the other side of the track...

Well, in my opinion, layouts work better when you put walls to define the
track, a few cones in a vast parking is sometimes hard to figure out and takes
away from the atmosphere of the track imo. Oh, and i've always preferred
tracks with walls ('city' courses usually). Also, when in/on the track, it's
almost like a new track, doesn't feel like autocross with a few cones

Comes down to personal preferences i guess, and what you want to do with
the layout. For practising, a parking lot atmosphere is ok, but in a demolition
derby style figure8, having as many 'limits' as possible such as walls, traffic,
jumps just adds to the 'game'. Figure8 is about NOT crashing mostly. Being
fast isn't as usefull.

But ... I would gladly put the walls closer all the way along the track, but the slightest bump and ur flying through the air . .

this way u can reach full speed ,whilst cornering ,with less chance of hitting any walls,

If it keeps busy will host it on 500 servers

Tried to join your host, mainly to say hi but I got a "Connect timed out" error.

Something to do with your host is wrong at the moment by the looks of it.
