I tried to join several races and when I clicked ok, a message came up and said that the host is using a different game code. Could someone help me with this problem?

If you've got the latest patch (V), its the fault of the server at the other end running an out of date revision of the code.

Have you installed the latest version of LFS? Version "V" is available here.

I think that means you are in S2 mode and trying to connect to a Demo host by name, or you are in Demo mode and trying to connect to a S2 host.

Check the Demo / S1 / S2 setting on the Multiplayer screen.
