What is the point of having a kart track...if there is no karts???
as the title says, can someone tell me why people are making Kart layouts???
this has confused me for quite a while... by the way, im a nooob
because the MRT can be used as a kart?
thanks lads... never thought of that
what "Kart Track" I did make, It is a kart track in real world
Quote from LFSn00b :As XCNuse said, MRT can be used as a karting car, if you use Autocross setups or others.

I agree with him u can use it
I thought the MRT was a kart anyhow?
Ah, its just the driver model on LFS, makes it look smaller than it is.
well not only that, i the MRT in LFS is quite differently shaped from the real MRT (others.. i know al heeley!!) the one in LFS has a really short and pointed nose, when in fact the real one has a boxy and quite long nose

i dont know.. theres alot of small things that add up that make it look totally different from the real one
One of my friends studied at McGill University and he was part of the team that built the real MRT5. The MRT5 was intented to compete in the Formula SAE, in auto-X layouts and karting circuits. ( Although, they practised on Gilles-Villeneuve circuit or the Monteal Casino's parking lot )

So, to sum up, yes the MRT5 can be used as a kart.

I went to the McGill openhouse last weekend, they were buiding the new MRT7. Kawasaki engine ( unknown specs) and a supercharger... Only if I brought the camera...

did I mention CF rims?
i like the courses, becouse there fun to drift in
