Ive just extracted the files in the upgrade to my LFS path.

After doing so the program was updated but i have to unlock it again using up one of my unlocks...???

Please can you tell me if this will go against my licence?? meaning will i lose an activation attempt. I think we only get five attempts and ive used 1 to unlock it in the first place.... Now i have to use another because of the upgrade...

Can you tell me if this will be given back to me so i have 1 less than the original activations?

Its usual to use another unlock.

When you buy a license you start off with 3 unlocks. You use your first one for the initial unlock. Thereafter you get a maximum of 2 unlocks at any one time. Each month you get an additional 1 unlock up to the limit of 2.

Yes it counts against your license (thats the point), but dont worry about it.

You get 3 unlocks upon purchasing an LFS license, that would have reduced you to 2 unlocks. However if you have only 1 or no unlocks at the beginning of each month, you are automatically given another.

Also everyone was reset to 2 unlocks (the maximum you can have) upon release of patch V because of the issue.
