Bloody hell that was tough, good race in race 2, lots of close racing at the top, and Bo was VERY fast in that UFR, nearly had me mate

jeeez, how unlucky can a man be?


Two races, two massive racing incidents early in each race that put me waaay back in the grids, even had to pit in Race one. The first one was unawoidable since the guy I was passing lost control of the car and spun right into my side.
The second one Davo comes to fast into T2 and takes out himself and another car that lies back on the track right in my path, I hit him of course since I don't have time to brake and are focused on the cars beside me, I allso get hit from behind.

Race one went ok from there, quite boring driving on my own. Race two were a little bit more entertaining, catching up with cars and looking at the time difference between me and the other cars since I actually gained time on them.

I had a good day at the races...

Race 1 went ok, makin too many mistakes.
Race 2 i got through the traffic pretty quick and chased down the 2 leaders. Again i kept making mistakes so this was a slow process.
On the last lap in the 2nd last corners Keith Dempsey and T.Kuhanen we battling. Toni got sideways and kind of came across the track infornt of me, so i tried to go around him but i jus caught his back bumper I'm REALLY sorry man.
This let me win the race, but it doesn't feel like a "real" win because of what happened on the last lap. Again i'm sorry Toni.

After racing in the LFS GT on sunday with this combo, I really expected to do well this time. Qualifying went well, managed to get pole by a comfortable distance. But in typical fashion I managed to f*** it all up like everyother race this season.

Lap 1 T2 I ran wide as did Xenoa and collided, lost a few places but not too much. The following lap I took T1 too fast (the wind was behind us on the home straight, which made T1 very hard to judge) and clipped the grass, ending up hitting the barrier on the opposite side of the track. I picked up a little damage from that, but it was enough to ruin my race. I was struggling to make it around T2 and T3 the whole time, on lap 3 I managed to crash yet again, due to the damage I ran wide at T2.
After that I only suffered minor mistakes, for quite a few laps I was chasing Bo's UFR, he was lapping well and couldn't get into a passing position, sadly he spun at T2, letting me pass him and get the upper hand on Deano. I somehow managed to finish 3rd in that race.

Race 2; I crashed at T2 on the first lap again, although this time it wasn't my fault. Someone moved across the track onto the racing line and hit me, making me and several other people run wide.
At the last turn I went in very slow, but opened the throttle too early, ran wide, hit the grass and hit the barrier. Again only causing a little damage, I decided to pit anyway as i didn't want to have another uncomfortable drive.
So I was dead last (13th) and far behind 12th position, like I was at Fern Bay. I decided to carry on anway, expecting some retirements. Only 2 came, Kid timed out again and Novoa quit. Ending 10th and picking up what could be 3 important points...

My season is just getting worse and worse, I have had atleast one nasty crash in all the races so far. However, have recorded the fast lap in every race so far... maybe I should quit racing and try hotlapping.

My set didn't really work, tyres were all wrong and the wind made it even worse i guess, i did actually manage a few '45s while practicing earlier. Other people's mistakes made me not finish last, pretty much sums up both races for me.

Had a weird accident with Keith in the first race, was thinking so much about watching the replay that i forgot to save it. Very sorry if i caused that.

For first race in elague I think I did ok, btu definately needed more practice. First race was good and I surprised myself by not qualifying last.

Second race I ran wide and on the grass on turn1 and was up the inside for turn2, which I cam int oo hot and understeere into Cropsy, sorry mate. Also sorry kikemomo, you're the guy behind that couldnt't stop but there was nothing I couldl do to stop the spin. The impact spun me around which caused a massive chain reaction. What should've been a small touch was made worse and I ended up on the roof and my race was over

I've made some LFS Stats for the Division 2 races.

Qualifying was horrible, had a hard time adepting to the wind and made crucial mistakes on my fastest laps...

Race 1, started 8th on the grid, went through the traffic quite nicely. After a couple of laps I was in a void between nikimere and Vince who were leading and d6nn quite far behind me. I was able to put down some very nice laps, and was catching up with Vince and niki, unluckily I took too much risk in trying to catch them so i went a bit too wide in t1 a couple of times, which cost me some time and finally made me finish in third.

Starting 7th in race 2 I took it fairly easy in the first lap and was able to overtake one or two.... my race basically ended in the fight with Leprekaun though... he braked a bit earlier than me so I had to make an evasive move. Tried the inside for that move, but he closed the door and I touched the grass and spun. Took Vince out in that accident as well I think, dont really know what happened. All I know is that I was down in 9th all of a sudden, with quite a big gap to the rest of the field.
After that I was very inconsistent as well, again had difficulties adepting my speed and race line to the (side-)wind. In lap 10 I had finally found a decent pace but of course that was far too late . Overtook the very unfortunate Kuhanen on the straight and finished in 8th.

Overall it was ok, although for the standings it didnt really help that Niki took the win in those last couple of turns...

Okay races for me.
Race1 had the most crazy wind Ive ever experienced.
-most of the drivers had problems with T1 and T2.
....because the wind was comming from behind on the straight,
you actually had to brake into T1
I was fighting for 3rd place, but then my right rear tyre just slightly
touched the grass and I spun out. - Goodbye 3rd. place. :evil:
Ended 6th or 7th cant remember.

Race2 was very good. Top 5 was changing places all the time and
close racing. -last half of race I REALLY wanted to catch danowat
I was closing up but he just ran away again. :weeping:

Wow, great race stats can you tell my what soft you used for?

I must also say, I am a little bit disapointted in the turnout for both divisions, 11 in Div1 and 15 in Div2, real shame, still some good racing to be had.
