wheels gone
Hi folks, it must have been one of the skin downloads because i changed nothing at all on my lfs configurations. but as of last week the inner parts of my wheels (and everybody else`s) are missing and most players`tyres look octagonal while still on the grid. performance is not a problem (i guess) but it looks quite awful

Can anybody help me out?

That would be you LOD settings (Level of detail).
They can be found in options/graphics,
I believe in options/misc there is a "dynamic lod" setting as well , which can be changed too.
You've been spending too much time with Ferrari and FIA. :P
LOL there is an option in display with about 6/7 options to change them to real/mirror and something else but change them all to mirror and it will solve your problem (see picture to solve the problem)

Or turn them off completely (if your computer isn't medieval ) and enjoy the detail of LfS...
E: Nevermind. What he said ^^^
thx folks for the good advice, me stupid should have thought of that alone. the mystery remains though: how were the settings changed, wasn`t me, I swear. haven`t been to that screen since first running lfs, set everything to max and have been happy everafter. what outside force was with me and changed it? or was it just a freak of nature???

thx though

Could be you edited the cfg, could be a shortcut (although I doubt that), could be someone was on your computer and played with the settings... Who knows?
well, i guess i`ll just talk to my son ...

thx anyway

:bullwhip: thats right, you keep him in line :bullwhip:
I also experienced that. So its kind of weird, I was to lazy to actually go and play with settings. Is it possible that this was changed with latest patch?<img>
