can u change the type of tie u have on during a race if so how?

F12. You can change between R1, R2 etc... Of course, you have to pit, if you want the changes to be made, they dont appear magically.

If you meant the tyre manufacturers like Michelin, Chromo etc.. I dont think, you can do that without Shift+S, but I dont know for sure.

You can change your "tie" as much as you want

however your tyres can only be changed to new (the same type) only if they are worn enough and this is set in the pits/garage screen, under info bottom right in % and will be changed when you make a pitstop.

Press the right and left arrows.

If that doesnt work, try shift + the arrows.

This probably belongs somewhere else, but why does the F12 menu only work online, I've done endurance tests before offline, and it would have been handy

You can always host your own server as non-dedi, LAN only. Then you get F12 and you can do endu testing and stuff. You don't have to be connected to the internet to do this, so it comes in handy at times.
