Just a tiny one: Could InSim initialisation include a check and fail if the port number given is already defined as the OutGauge or OutSim port?
Because InSim is defined by command and the others by config, I think it can cause confusion for those who aren't familiar with all three... but that includes a lot of people, once you account for 3rd party apps that use them.
In the discord chat behind this thread, it was quite a while before we could put all the clues together, but "requested InSim port already in use" could be enough of a steer to be useful.
