Having the season just 3 rounds long means it's like snapping the fingers and we're already at season finale! It will be run in the longest and fastest racetrack of the season - in Kyoto's National configuration,where reversed direction means that oval part will be run in correct direction. Since the track consists of over 2 kilometers of full throttle oval section and under 3 kilometers of twisty infield section,it's quite important to find the correct balance between straight line speed and good handling in turns.

In theory new joiner to series could still take championship,however that would require the one to take all points from full distance race and current standings leader not even attending. So realistically only top4 can be still considered as realistic candidates in full distance race,if the race is halved once again,it's probably a duel between top2 of standings. Similar situation with different number of candidates is in both teams and nations standings,while rookie standings still needs to be activated with 2nd rookie finishing a race.

The 3rd and final round of this short season was even less attended - just the late joiner rescued this round getting in history books as the new least attended round,putting it in those as repeated least attended. 3 drivers qualified and took place on grid while 4th driver missed the start,but used the chance to join as he is part of standings top10 drivers to pick up important points for standings.

Without much of competition,the series creator took over the charge in race for the win again,this time leading every single meter of the halved race distance to score his 3rd VERL race win. After repeating his best qualifying result,Lorenzo kept chasing the race leader in early part of the race,however could not keep up later and finished 16 seconds behind race winner as runner up,scoring his best VERL finish from the 4 seasons he participated in. LG-mies finished 3rd to score his 2nd podium finish in row,5th top5 finish in total.
