Last few months, LFS has been crashing or freezing randomly and it shows "› LOCAL : TIMER BOUNDED" and sometimes it shows "TCR ER : init time = 0" constantly in single and multiplayer. when i get into the game without my T300 wheel i don't have any problems( im not sure 100% if thats the problem)

recently:

- reinstalled game
- C drive format
- thought my new rams are the problem so i changed it to older one
- searched almost all the posts
- Intel & NVIDIA drivers updated
Nothing worked

pc specs:
Windows 10
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9300H CPU @ 2.40GHz
Old rams: 8GB, NEW: 36GB

I see LFS is installed on your D drive. Is that an external harddrive? Or a 3.5 inch mechanical harddrive? (yes those old chunky ones). They are good for preserving data, but they're quite bad for gaming as they cause latency with those slow read and write speeds.

I'm not saying this IS the cause, but it sure looks like it.

There have been times where I've run into LOCAL : TIMER BOUNDED myself, and its usually because there isn't a single frame being rendered in LFS. Ideally a total freeze of the computer.

You can verify this by checking the disk I/O latency

7200rpm drives are perfectly fine for most games apart from recent AAA releases, LFS will have no issues running off a HDD.

It's an internal ssd drive
