The online racing simulator
different weather scenarios (rain, storm, fog etc...)
weather scenarios would be awesome
Welcome to the club.
thanks man
We have suggested this many many years ago and much more, but there is only one developer doing all these things, so it's going there eventually. At least we hope Smile

I wonder who? Hehe
Anyway, let's hope that we can get different types of weather
You're quite new here, but just browse around a forum and you will find an infinite amount of suggestions, discussions, and whatever about LFS updates and future development.

Our guy is Scawen - game developer, team lead, manager, PR, tech support, director of LFS, name it however you want, the guy does it all. Eric is a 3D artist, and creator of cars (demo, S1, S2) and all tracks. Victor is working on the internet side of things, LFS world, and more.

So you see, a very small independent team, but they do great stuff.
agreed
The closest we ever got to some sort of dynamic weather conditions in LFS was (and still is) the system we introduced in the E-Challenge competition.

Essentially we were mandating the use of less grippy road tyres at specific timeframes, pretending it is raining and the grip is low. Of course no rain was falling down on the track, no game physics had changed, we just run the road tyres because the gods of fake weather system said so.

And considering how small the development team of LFS is and what are the current priority tasks, it is safe to say there won't be any better weather system for quite a while.
Yeah, well said by michal. I also use different tyre and pressure to simulate weather. If car as slicks, use it for drys. and if you want wet conditions in lets say a f1 car, use the road super tyres, they have the same traction as wet
First comes the day and night cycle. Weather may come later. It looks like it will take a long time to arrive anyway. We expect too much from a person.
