Okay, so my father has said he will not let me drive on my own up to Newcastle because after 4 months of having a license (April->August) I may not have enough "experience". However I can drive up there if he tags along in the front passenger seat, he has agreed to take some people up north in the back seats (2) if they put a tiny ammount of money into the fuel cost...

If you want a cheap DFP (depending on where in the UK you live then I am selling mine, comes free with test drive unlimited (PC DVD). All I am asking for is somewhere between £25-30, not including shipping (again I may drop the price depending on where I have to post to.)

Yes that is right, I may sell my DFP which has not been used much since purchase, and if the right price is offered it might come with Test Drive Unlimited (PC) with no extra cost.
The DFP is in a good used condition with no damage to the wheel/pedals. The wheel has the GT logo apposed to the Logitech logo. I [May have the original box, gota search the house, I will update this when I confirm] will package the wheel with care if original box is not found.
Conditions:
*I will only sell to UK buyers.
*The minimum price has to be met.
*I do not accept cash in post (for obv. reasons).
Post on here if you are interested.

I think LFS is already being led.
Does loosing control of the kart and somehow sliding around a corner at an angle then re-gaining control count?
LFS is a race simulator, if you think that the patch killed it, then maybe NFS is for you. If anything the patch has just made it even better.
Try the search funtion of the forum, or look in your skins_x folder. That always helps, if it doesnt, then reply back here.
Wouldn't 1.5+ mean that you have to do nearly 90* of turn with minimal results? What wheel are you using?
LFS is dead? Since being absent from the forum for a few months, then re-joining and seeing how many players there are online on LFSW (was 1345 when I checked) thats double the number of players there were in 2006. If LFS is dying then you might want to check if you are still living.

If you think about it all you really need is a pedal powered canoe, and a few cans of red bull, if you leave now you might make it for august.

Now that is dodgy, he starts off jumping around like a bean and then falls through the track without spawning, this definetly is interesting, but looks more like a glitch than a hack.

Turning stuff off helps, for instance the sidebar that you get with vista, I get around 30-40fps without having twiddled around with the settings since installing LFS on my laptop. Which was today, and its not jerky at all... Specs are: 2gb RAM, 1.9gHz AMD Turion X2 (dual core) and for an odd reason 198mb Ati Graphics card/driver.

Count me in, I will have my license by August, and lets say I don't, I will leave two days earlier on foot, with a backback, and a few cans of guinness. If anyone wants picked up around the London area that can be done, although I am carrying a maximum of 3 people. Unless I walk.
At when you see people with [FreX] in their name or on their numberplate you can think to yourself: "Poor guy, he will never use a wheel again after being propelled 200ft in the air by hitting a red/white barrier."
