Quote from ciph :Jesus, i feel pretty disappointed in here..

The Memory addresses aint wrong the most are missing due "PROBABLY" protected memory. Since the XRT is no longer a demo car its counting on the protected memory which makes only the car class editable, XRG was the only car so far i was able to find unknown values and yea i worked pretty in rush due something called "real life?" yeh. Since i have nothing to do tomorrow i will fix some bugs and try to figure out whats wrong about the 320 error, i also have here alot of other new addresses for the wheels which makes the Rim Editor a bit bigger.

And to those people who always say "Ah this cant be that hard" how about pickup any Memory Editor/Debugger/Disassembler of your choice and start to do something instead making all stuff bad? Its not that easy to find out what value is meant for what. Since i have big programming expierence i know what im talking about, i was working for serval companys as a developer.

And to the rest who appricate my work i would like to thank them.

Quote from Woz :Post a replay of you drifting in LFS.

My guess is that when you drift in LFS one of the following is the cause of your problem.

1) You are FAR FAR more brutal in your LFS drifting than IRL because fear and G force do not give the feedback you are used to IRL.

2) The time you spend drifting is probably longer than IRL and you wait far less between runs etc.

3) Your setup in LFS might not be realisstic or relate to the car you drift IRL. Compare the two. MANY LFS setups are far from realistic because you do not have to worry about broken car parts. You don't even have to worry about the forces on the human in the car.

What diff and settings in the diff do you use IRL compared to LFS. If you have un-modified car you are probably on an OPEN diff while most drift setups in LFS used LOCKED diffs.

There is much to make even between the two before you can compare. Not saying LFS is 100% BTW, just that you need to compare apples with apples

HTH

did you realy read my post? hm dont think so
it doesnt matter which car you are driving or which setup it has
tires ARENT losing their WHOLE grip because of overheating

do a burnout and heat the tires up to the maximum
now try to make a 500m drift on a STRAIGHT road

doesnt work? uh well, it does in lfs

btw my diff is welded

i am drifting in this game since some years now AND i am drifting in RL
BUT
the tire heat/grip isnt realistic imo, lets say, road normal is a Conti Premium Contact, maybe a sebring or kleber
maybe its just my imagination, but those tires arent losing AT ALL so much grip like the tires in lfs do if they heat up

if the tires in lfs would be realistic, daaaaaammmmn, after 30minutes drifting IRL with a set of tires, i could do 500meter drifts on a straight with a 180sx because the tires wouldnt had any grip anymore because they are so hot
now THAT's what i call realistic

Quote from Dethred :Bob, why not just make this forum private for S2 racers?

Demo drivers shouldn't even be able to see the thread titles, much less the actual addons.

good point there

Quote from natedog420 :you you can tweak rb4, lx4, lx6, fz50, fxo, rac. just start the game with lfstune. then pick xrt and join the race then pit. after that you can pick any of those i listed and have the power and torque. but if you want different settings you have to switch back to xrt and restart lfstune and set new settings. then you can pit and pick out of the list again. its very fun. i like driving a lx6 with 4wd and about 550-650hp. very fun and hard to control witch it is a challenge but once you get it its a blast man. rear wheel drive fxo is fun to.

damn nate, long time no see
thnx for the tip, gonna try that

btw. @CIPH, ich stelle mich gern als betatester für neue updates zur verfügung =P

i just downloaded the prog and had a run, funny to have a 400bhp 2ltr xrt
but i would love to see the same adjustments like in the old "PowerMod" (pre-lfstweak) that was like the best shit ever, you could adjust pretty much everything with it

or atleast the same like the lfs tweak, wanna drift my 240hp highrev xr again ^^

installed the profiler again
works fine so far
just hope that all games that i play, can be played with seperate pedals, because now that button problem is with the combined pedals xD
well, i dont care too much about that atm
IDA-Itsuki

ok
so far, it works
ive set it to seperate pedals in the profiler
than ive deinstalled the profiler and calibrated the wheel with the windows controller manager
the pedals work fine, plus the steering is straight

but now theres no more force feedback
and im worried that if im installing the profiler again, the same probs will came back again
