Hi guys was just wandering if anyone's ordered of this website because its relatively very cheap!
http://www.advancetec.co.uk/ac ... e_Intel_i5_Upgrade_3.html
Only £280 for an i5 750, asus p7p55d and 2Gb DDR3 RAM, the cheapest i5 build i could find costed £350 for the same parts of ebuyer.

Is there a catch or am i missing something on this?
Would be grateful if you could check, also is this website legit?

Cheers guys,

Quote from bunder9999 :wouldn't that kill water pressure?

Probably would but sprinklers probably didn't mind a little less pressure.

Thanks all that's exactly what I was talking about

thanks very much

Quote from spacedskunk :Driving on the left goes back to when we rode around in horses because the average right hander mounts a horse from the left side, so they used to ride on the left side too and its just staying with cars

that's cool I never knew that

Quote from MAGGOT :Just aout of curiosity, what is hardboard? My first guess is MDF, but I'm not up on my colloquialisms.

i think its high density fibreboard, and MDF is medium density fibreboard
Also must be a really stupid question, but will the 3mm 50cmx60cm sheet be a bit bendy, like snappable? or will it be real hard?

Quote from tristancliffe :Probably. Most likely the chain fastenings would pull through, so use big washers to spread the load. Oh, they're on hooks? Might be worth trying to reinforce the hook holes somehow.

alright cheers mate, i'll put some big washers to spready the load on the chain fastenings.
This is what it looks like.

this is an easier pic to understand.

guessing that threaded part at the bottom of the pic is what is going to go through the hardboard.

3mm Hardboard

Hi guys, i know there are a lot of people who specialise in this field and would be able to answer my question.

Basically, would a 3mm sheet of hardboard measuring 60cm x 70cm hold a mass of about 5kg which would hang of two chains. One chain hooks 10cmcm from the edge of one side of the hardboard, and the other chain hooks 10cm from the edge of the other side of the hardboard.

I've put a picture to explain things a bit better.

If you can't read the small writing, it basically says: "1cm diameter threaded tube of which the hook is on, with a nut about the tube and hardwood"

Also, the hardboard is supported from all sides, into a depth of about 3cm.

Thanks a lot for your help.
Harjun.
