Is it LFS Relax known to not work on Vista 64? Seems to be working for about 5min then the window closes. I do not see error messages, or Event Log entries on it either. Digital speedo sat at 000 as well, but no biggie for me there.

So I've moved my LFS install to my HTPC, to use it on a bigger screen. Right now it's an integrated vid card (ATI x1250). As you can imagine LFS doesn't run to hot at 1920x1080 on that card. I do however like the HDCP and HDMI for the HTPC uses.

Can someone recommend a cheap'ish solution for me? Requirements are 1920x1080 LFS 60+fps, and HDCP. HDMI built in so I don't need an adapter is a big plus. Guess I have a budget around $150

Oh and I don't care about performance in other games. Have a decent desktop and PS3 for that.

Looks good, though I'd spend more on the vid card. At this point your limiting the games you can run that are already out. Forget new ones coming. Look to a 8800GT if you can swing the extra $.

To be honest, my 15K SAS drivers are only 36g x2 in RAID 0. So the drives are around $100ea, and the controller was $80. So it's really close to a single raptor of the same size. After that my storage is just a typical SATA Seagate.

My 8600GTS gets a 5.6, and my 15K SAS Raid 0 gets a 5.9. So there's the way to get a 5.9 for disk!

I tried out the new patch 30/31 for the first time last night. FMB on So6. I was totally blown away, SO SICK! It'll take some getting used to for shifting, but all around fantastic stuff.

So how does it all work? If I'm using hi-res others can see it I assume. If I'm online I'll see people with Hi-res etc?

Friend of mine is running LFS on a 46' LCD in his living room. The only prob is he sits a little far back. Makes seeing detail in LFS difficult, but aside from that it's amazing!

I totally know what your going through with the Belkin, I've had the same issues on 2 Belkins (mine and a friends). I've seen 3 Linksys go bad as well though with the same issue. Factory reset to correct it so it's even more hassle. This was always the same model though, which is fairly old now. D-link is my fav for typical off the shelf stuff.

Back before the latest patch I was running 'upgraded' skid sounds from LFS Database. Well with the V sounds have gone to wav right so the raw skids are dead. Is there an update for this? Or do you guys recommend a way for me to covert the raws to wavs?

I have both a DFP and G25, and hands down the G25 is worth the extra $. DFP is nice too, but it doesn't compare.

Site: lfs-database for me. Setupfield is great, but I tend to get most of my setups from players online.

League: no idea, I'm too new and don't know any!

Team: Redline, just cause there running the best public servers BY FAR and they've helped me with hosting games, and setups etc.

Application: Far and away CSR. Saved LFS for me when I was considering rFactor due to headaches.

Good point! The tunnel curve has a wicked bump that throws the backend off too if your too tight. Fun stuff though!

I've just come to the realization that this will be my first long race and I have no idea what to do for a setup! Any one have a good set for this, or suggestions?

I have a great set for this already, but I've only used it for short races. I'm worried about # of stops and the 20l tank etc. Tire wear to corrospond with pitting and all that. So ya any ideas?
