Hi all I've been with LFS since 2005 but I've only just come back to it after a few years away and I must say that I'm enjoying it tremendously especially as I've got myself an oculus rift cv1 and I love it for sim racing, best peripheral I've ever bought.But I was wondering is the upgrade to S3 (I'm on S2)worth it as it only seems to give the user one extra track Rockingham (I know it has around 11 variations)?
One other thing, atm I'm driving the bmw fb02 around blackwood gp best lap atm is around the 1.17's but people are leaving me sitting and driving away from me on the straights, now I know it's all about the setups (which I'm working on ) but I keep missing the gears especially from 3rd on as you have to lift off the accelerator(blip)is there any way to stop blipping the gears? now I'm not talking auto, I want to be able to change the gears manually without having to lift off

Yeah I've been in contact with frex and they suggested opening ports via my firewall which I've done and I've changed the config file i.e. :-
OutSim Mode 2
OutSim Delay 5
OutSim IP 127.0.0.1
OutSim Port 51223

and these :-

OutSim Mode 2
OutSim Delay 5
OutSim IP 127.0.0.1
OutSim Port 10000

and tried these :-

OutGauge Mode 2

But I'm afraid none of them work, its a real pity because I love the simconmeter and would love to get it to work in LFS, it works with all my other sims i.e. GTR2, rFactor, GT Legends but not LFS

I take it you had to send the original th2go back? cant wait to see if your new th2go fixs the flickering!

To be honest my flickering seems to settle down after around 10 minutes or so, I don't think lowering the phase helped at all maybe a little, so hard to tell. But it is definitely worse when starting a game or going in and out of different screens, as I said it does settle down after a little while, so I try to not let it bother me so much illepall
Please let me know if your replacement is any better?

Hello Doeboy yeah I got GTR2 to run straight out of the box without a problem in fact I had it running before I knew there was a problem , I didn't do anything special to get it to run, just installed it and set the resolution in the GTR2 configuration menu.
I run it @ 2400 x 600 32 bit in the GTR2 configuration menu I didn't use the SGU.

HI again Doeboy (only after replying to the last TH2Go thread) I have TH2Go and Trackir 3 pro and I will say that I find that it works best with LFS (IMHO) than any other sim (GTL,GTR2,RFactor) but as TCannon (hi Todd thanks for sending me the inverted pedal guide) said you have such a wide view any way there is not a lot of call for it, but I find especially on LFS (as I prefer the in cockpit view in LFS) that it just helps the immersion factor, but on GTR2 and GTL I find the in cockpit view a little restrictive so I usually use the bumper view (I know not totally sim) and as I'm thinking of getting a simconmeter I wont need the dash display so that will help to improve the frame rate

Hi all, its been a while firstly Im not very tech minded but I have the same flickering on my three dell 17"'s, it only seems to happen at startup or when going in and out of different screens/games/email etc, it soon settles down and ingame its not very noticeable. It doesn't bother me so much now as I read someware that it has to do with the phase so I adjusted that a little from 95 down to 50 and this seems to have helped , but as I have no idea what the phase actually does Im kinda shooting in the dark,illepall

Hi all first post in the new forum .

My question has probabaly been asked 1000 times before but why do I always lock the front wheels when braking in the formula XR no matter how lightly I apply the brakes its always the same result front wheels lock or else I dont get slowed enough for the corner and end up in the grass/sand trap its doing my head in, HELP any sugestions would be great, as this is ruining a great sim .
