Thank you, very interesting

I expected it to be cheaper. Considering fuel price in America, the guy is probably paying 2 times more than if he ran only on gasoline.

Quote :The whole point for me is to be off of foreign oil even if I have to pay more. For me it is about national security.

Payback time frame:

Pay back happens every time I plug in to the wall. I’ll remember 9/11 every time I do.

Dont talk like that man, electricity rocks =)

Solar have you got any figures about price that you pay for electricity after installing the plug-in kit you were talking about a few pages back? I am just curious, having watched the conspiracy theory :Kick_Can_ documentary about ev-1, checking development progress of tesla roadster and so on, there are figures about energy efficiency, but they dont tell me much.

I wonder if you picked up any numbers about electricity bills reading prius forums

happy driving

Has anyone seen the video "who killed the electric car?" I have seen the trailer and a sort of interview with its director and found it pretty interesting. After some research I am really looking looking forward to see fully electric cars in the future

btw I am expecting a pb on my car's consuption, I've done over 600km and the fuel light still isn't on proud of myself lol.

Sorry guys I took long to reply

Yeah the Z-buffer was the solution. Now I am getting 50+ fps on the track and 30+ on the skillc. layout.

Its so stupid that I tried reducing everything but didnt bother to try the 16bit Z-buffer :banghead:

Thanx for your help

yes i think it does... not sure tho, but i've had it always on

Im starting to think something bad has happened to my system, today i noticed that even on racing tracks i get only 30-40 fps, which is like 10 less than usually, but i was never paying attention.

Anyway here's the pic.. i doubt anything can be reduced more

Id say its a part of a promo campain or something, like the taxi company got them for a lower price. Because they are not popular here, I've only seen one since they came out. Just around the border in Italy it seems to be different, I even saw a honda insight there.

Yes, I tried reducing everything I found in a menu, but it doesnt help, since the problem seems to be in too many objects showing at one time Because when i turn my car to face away from the cones, the frm rate rises instantly.

I cant believe that everyone finds it normal to drive, since i had such problems where there were too much cones since i can remember, I thought it is a common LFS problem.

Only 700kms in almost 1 month? I do that much in 1 week, think if you really need a car, bike would consume less

I've tried changing to lower detail, resolution, etc but seems imposssible to get it over 20fps.

Makes it very hard to drive.

Yeah it like this, but the distances here dont look ok... IRL its done with 64 kmh, and its not that easy. I think the "lanes" are too long, and too far apart. And maybe a bit too narrow.

hello
You probably know about the elk or moose test which became famous with mercedes a and now again with dacia logan. Id like to try this test IRL, and of course in LFS

I searched the internet but i couldnt find anything useful. Id be very happy if anyone can provide me with data on how to build it officially.

At least these lengths are needed, see pic

thanks
