tried another power supply? sounds like the current one might be dead or certainly on the way..

power to the DVD/CD ROMS comes from the PSU not the mobo, so that would be a good start.

the F1 is so quick i need to brake earlier.. i'm going to have to relearn all the tracks

of course thats like being stuck in a bowl of ice cream and cursing the makers for forcing me to eat it all

for me the FOX is worth the upgrade to S2 by itself. i love the car very tricky to get right but when you do hook it up it feels great.

i've just moved machines from my old XP2400 to a new shuttle with a nice XP3000+ and i had to unlock it.. then for some reason i couldnt get any revs going so tried reinstalling it and unlocked it.. didnt work...

so i zapped the install and reinstalled it and couldnt unlock it again... but i can accellerate now, just in a GTi not a FOX

any chance i could get an additional unlock please?

can i just say thanks to the guys behind this fantastic server. in the last couple of days i've raced on here without much wrecking. and i've got my time on blackwood with the fox down from 1.16 to 1.12 with the help of watching the quicker drivers.

shame my windows xp install wont recognise my microsoft steering wheel otherwise i could be quicker still
