Not sure if possible to add this in the current lfs version. But what annoys me in endurance races is to change pit instructions while driving. Other sims have options a teammember can set these settings as a teammanager. Might this be possible in the future, maybe even with a program like lfs remote?

I know you don't want to put massive time in new ideas, but this might be a nice feature after the big update.

Scawen, I have a question but don't know how easy it is to add in.

Different cars need different ffb strength ingame. LFS original cars are quite close but will be still usefull for, but mod cars need sometimes twice as much ffb.

So can you make this setting car specific like the view setting? Smile

Quote from gu3st :30 minutes to replace an engine is already done by an incredibly speedy pit crew.

Haha yeah very true, for endurance it might need a bigger penalty Wink

Option 2 for me as well. 3% engine damage might be already huge, but we have to test it.

People complain about the very fast mechanics in lfs. But this is a game after all and I like this more than iRacing's 30 minute rapairs when punted off by a backmarker Big grin

Having said that, in the future having a choice on the repair time per server might be perfect. As in an endurance race losing 12 seconds is no loss at all. While 30+ seconds engine changing might cost a lap.

I hope we can seperate engine damage repair from the other things. If I have 0.2% engine damage and I want to repair suspension, I don't want that 0.2% being fixed. But another box of yes/no might be more work.

Quote from Scawen :
One bad shift affects it quite a lot, so I think one decimal place is enough. Maybe the straight percentage with no decimal place would be OK?

It's perfect like you have made it, the decimal is usefull for competitive drivers.

Quote from Scawen :
I was thinking the engine symbol could start grey then go yellow then red with more damage. Possibly if pit engine repair is implemented, the colours could line up with "minor damage" and "major damage".

Matching colours with the minor and major damamge would be a great idea.
